EXQUISITE ANDREAS VOIT PAPIER MACHE DOLL WITH ORIGINAL BOX.
Lovely all-original papier mache shoulder head doll with inset brown glass eyes, closed mouth with slight hint of a smile, painted upper and lower lashes and multi stroke eyebrows, painted black pate covered by the original human hair wig with finely coiled braids. She is on a firm white leather French body with narrow waist, well modeled hips, and wooden lower arms with separately carved thumbs. The costume appears original and is made out of peach gauze with lace trim, cloth flowers and a silk ribbon draping across the skirt with a matching ribbon around the neck. She has lovely white silk flat shoes with ribbons tied around the socks. She is contained within her original marked box. SIZE: 16" (41cm). CONDITION: Near excellent, especially considering age; one slight craze mark on forehead and a lesser one emitting from the outer corner of right eye. 1-12968
