[CHURCHILL WINSTON S.]: (1874-1965) British Prime Minister 1940-45, 1951-55. Nobel Prize winner for Literature, 1953. CHURCHILL RANDOLPH: (1849-1895) British Statesman, Chancellor of the Exchequer 1886. Father of Winston S. Churchill. A.L.S., Randolph S. Churchill, two pages, 8vo, Piccadilly, 13th September 1887, to Thomas Wrighton, on the blind embossed stationery of the Turf Club. Churchill thanks his correspondent for their letter informing him that the 24th October 'has been fixed for the meeting at Stockton'. Some very slight traces of former mounting to the right edge of the second page, not affecting the text or signature. Together with Jennie Churchill (1854-1921) American-born wife of Lord Randolph S. Churchill, mother of Winston Churchill. Ink signature ('Jennie Cornwallis West') on a slightly irregularly clipped oblong 12mo piece removed from the conclusion of a letter. Neatly laid down. G to VG, 2

Shipment

Once payment has been received in full we will be delighted to mail your puurchases to you. Lots are securely packed in house and shipments are generally made through the Royal Mail using one of their tracked services which will require a signature upon delivery. Overseas deliveries are sent via insured air mail will also require a signature upon delivery. If you require your package to be sent via couriers such as FedEx or DHL please advise us as this will incur additional costs.
