BORGNINE ERNEST: (1917-2012) American Actor. Academy Award winner. An unusual D.S., Ernest Borgnine, being a French cinema paper magazine, “Le film Complet” (“The full Film”), folio, 16 pages, dated 1st September 1955. Signed and inscribed in bold black ink to a partially clear area of the front cover by Borgnine `With many best wishes and success for your museum´. The weekly edition is entitled Marty, Great award at the Cannes Festival and shows Borgnine standing in a half length pose alongside Betsy Blair. Borgnine obtained his Academy Award in his leading role in the film Marty (1955). The magazine includes 26 film scene photographs to the inside pages, most of them of the awarded film Marty.
