MARTIN FRANK: (1890-1974) Swiss Composer. An attractive A.M.Q.S., Frank Martin, one page, oblong 7 x 3.5 card, Amsterdam, 23rd November 1965, to Julius Weder, in French. To the verso of his printed personal card, Frank Martin - Naarden, the Swiss composer has carefully penned a lengthy six bars musical quotation which he identifies as `Les 4 éléments - l´Air´ (“The 4 elements - The Air”), from his oboe concerto, 1964. Martin has annotated some musical and tempo indications such as `Allegretto..Dolce legg[ero]´. Inscribed `to Julius Weder, cordially´ beneath the quotation. Accompanied by the original envelope in Martin´s hand. EX £200-300
