RICORD PHILIPPE: (1800-1889) French Physician. He was the first to prove that syphilis and gonorrhea are not the same disease. Ricord was appointed physician to Prince Napoleon, and later consulting surgeon to Napoleon III. A.N.S., P Ricord, one page, 8vo, Paris, 5th January 1843, in French.
