DAY DORIS: (1922- ) American Actress & Singer. An unusual D.S., Doris Day, being a French cinema paper magazine, “Mon Film” (“My Film”), folio, 16 pages, dated 25th July 1951. Signed and inscribed in bold black ink to a clear area of the front cover by Day. The magazine edition is entitled No, No, Nanette! and shows Doris Day in a head and shoulders pose alongside Gordon Mac Rae. No, No, Nanette being the French title and the 1925 stage musical title for Tea for Two (1950) a musical film directed by David Butler. The magazine includes 18 film scene photographs to the inside pages, most of them of the film Tea for Two. VG £80-100
