D.S., `John Tyndall´, one page, 11 x 17 folio, London, 18th March 1865, on a Royal School of Mines printed title, to E.L. Mackmurdo. The attractive partially printed document, bearing at the heading a large printed coat of arms, being a certificate given by the Committee of Council on Education of the Royal School of Mines to E.L. Mackmurdo, having passed an examination. Signed by Tyndall in bold black ink at the base of the document. Folded. With one extremely small stain not affecting the text or signature. VG £100-120
