NIN JOAQUIN: (1879-1949) Cuban Composer and Pianist. A good A.L.S., Nin, four pages, 8vo, Evaux, 3rd July 1936, to Madame Herrman, in French. On the printed stationery of the Grand Hotel D´Evaux Les-Bains, Nin states `I have finally finished the work which I obliged myself to achieve. I have been living 20 days in my “tower”, isolated and with no sunlight.. Poor music, poor painting, poor poesy!.. ´ further saying `I would love so much to listen again to the Scarlatti work in “la”, so skilfully played by your dear husband..´ Accompanied by the original envelope. VG £80-100
