1936 Morris 10/4 Saloon

The Morris 10/4 was launched in 1932 at the 'Olympia motor show' in London. It was a very advanced car in its day, fitted with a 1292cc side valve engine with a single SU carburettor, hydraulic brakes, sliding sunroof, domed wings with side shields, two tone paintwork and optional 18" wire wheels (which this car has)

This charming 87 year old Morris looks stunning in its two-tone black and green paintwork with its contrasting leather interior.

The body and paintwork are exceptional with a nice paint finish with a deep lustre to it. The interior is outstanding with a perfect headlining, excellent leather seats and door cards. The carpets look to be nearly new. The factory fitted sunroof, slides and works as it should. The underside is very solid with no signs of poor previous repairs. The car even retains its original working semaphore indicators.

The last owner of 6 years has maintained it very well, including a full engine overhaul at a cost of £2670.00 with receipt / invoice five years ago. The tyres look to be nearly new. The recorded mileage is 65000 miles.

Overall, a very pretty and useable 1936 Morris, driving well, sure to attract admiration either on the public roads or at the many up and coming summer classic car shows and rallies.

There is a huge following for this era Morris, supported by many owners’ clubs with parts readily available from many Morris parts suppliers.

This vehicle is located near Northampton from where it will need to be collected.

Videos of the vehicles are available on request.

Viewing is by appointment, please contact the office to arrange.

Most vehicles on offer will need some light recommissioning so please assume that your new purchase will need trailering away. We can provide details of a trusted and fully insured.
