Fanny Kemble: a rare glass picture depicting the actress in a green dress with shawl and bonnet, the reverse affixed with a handwritten label ‘Fanny Kemble in the character of Mary Parish(?), The Country Maiden, Covent Garden Theatre, No.7’, circa 1830, framed, 331mm x 292mm overall *Kemble first appeared on the stage at Covent Garden in October 1829. She accompanied her father to America in 1832, marrying in 1834, she then retired.
