Admiral George Rodney: a rare creamware tankard of slender cylindrical shape with spreading foot painted in colours with flowers centred by the loyal political slogan ‘Rodney for ever’, circa 1780, 123mm, restored * Variously Member of Parliament from 1751 to 1774 Rodney also represented Westminster, together with Charles James Fox, from 1780 to 1782. A distinguished naval officer he trounced the French at the Battle of the Saintes in April 1782.

Collection and Shipping: 

Purchases may be collected by prior appointment from London.  The Auctioneer may pack and send small consignments by Royal Mail Special Delivery,  Whilst every effort will be made to ensure litems are properly packed no responsibility can be accepted by the Auctioneer or his agents for any loss or damage sustained in transit by Royal Mail with whom insurance cover will be arranged.
