Henry Brougham: a creamware jug, the bellied body printed in black and decorated in colours with figures dancing (very rubbed), inscribed on the reverse, circa 1810, 132mm, cracked Illustrated * Elected MP for Camelford in 1810 Brougham fought for the abolition of slavery He was elected again in 1816 for Winchelsea He went on to defend Queen Caroline in 1820, was a champion of Reform and ultimately one of the foremost politicians of the first half of the 19th century.

Purchases may be collected by prior appointment from London.  The Auctioneer may pack and send small consignments by Royal Mail Special Delivery,  Whilst every effort will be made to ensure litems are properly packed no responsibility can be accepted by the Auctioneer or his agents for any loss or damage sustained in transit by Royal Mail with whom insurance cover will be arranged.
