Daniel O’Connell MP: an unusual decagonal nursery plate by Dillon the border moulded with alternate figures and motifs, printed in brown with a named and inscribed portrait, impressed mark, 155mm diameter * O’Connell was elected for County Clare in the by-election of 1828 Following assent of the Emancipation Act in 1829 he was duly re-elected unopposed in the July of that year and took his seat at Westminster in February 1830
