Important Information

Goldfield Auction's sale on Saturday 23 November promises once again to offer art lovers and collectors some truly exceptional pieces. This session features a varied selection of Chinese porcelain, a refined ensemble that testifies to the history and elegance of Asian art.

Fans of classical art and collectors will also be able to appreciate a remarkable selection of pieces from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries, including bronze objects, as well as German and French porcelain. Paintings from a variety of periods and styles will also enrich this varied offering, making this sale a rare opportunity for lovers of the visual arts.

The Liège school occupies a prominent place, with emblematic works by artists such as Auguste Mambour, known for his expressive and committed style, Edgar Scauflaire, and Albert Raty, who celebrated the landscapes and life of the Belgian Ardennes through his work. These works allow visitors to immerse themselves in the artistic atmosphere of the Liège region, with paintings imbued with modernity and regional character.

Art Deco furniture will also be in the spotlight, with creations by the famous Jules Leleu, whose refined, elegant style left its mark on the 1930s. These pieces of furniture reflect the refinement and innovation characteristic of the Art Deco period.
