A Foley 'Intarsio' oviform ewer, designed by Frederick Rhead, the vessel has a tapering cylindrical neck with a freize of Lions Rampant and simple loop handle, decorated with two Medieval minstrals in heraldic costume and each blowing a horn against a brick-red ground and flanked by Art Nouveau foliage picked out in blues and greens, 27.5cm. high, factory marks on base and numbered '3340'
