Attributed to Thomas Overton, (fl.1838-1881), Portrait of Miss Augusta Hawly, wearing a 'Bertha' collar over a grey silk dress, dated 1833; Portrait of a young woman, half-length, wearing a low-cut dress and a wrap; Portrait of a lady wearing a bonnet with a large ostrich feather plume; Portrait of a woman wearing a 'Bertha' collar and a gold lorgnette chain; Portait of a woman wearing a lace bonnet and a grey dress; Portrait of a gentleman wearing a gown and white cravat; the first indistinctly signed in pencil lower left, each subsequently inscribed in pencil with the artist's name, and dated 1833 verso, in another hand, each pencil and watercolour, each 15.5 x 13 cm.
