A French belge noir marble drum-head mantel clock, Henry Marc, Paris, late 19th century The eight-day outside countwheel bell-striking movement stamped H.Y. MARC PARIS to backplate with similarly signed two-piece white enamel Roman numeral dial with visible brocot escapement to the recessed centre, in a fluted drum case with mottled red marble bezel flanked by supporting scrolls, on panel fronted plinth base with turned feet, 32cm high.
