A French gilt brass four-glass mantel clock, circa 1880, the eight-day two-train bell-striking movement with mercury compensated pendulum and visible brocot escapement to the centre of the two-piece Roman numeral white enamel dial, the case with cast globe and telescope foliate draped trophy crest, over leafy mount applied caddy moulded angles and plinth base with foliate feet, 36cm high.
