A good French ormolu and patinated bronze four-glass mantel clock, c.1860, the circular countwheel bell-striking movement with brocot escapement, stamped Ad. Mougin to backplate and with mercury compensated pendulum, in glazed flat-top pedimented case applied with gilt classical foliate decoration to frieze and with reeded pilasters to each corner, on conforming base with engine-turned bun feet, 34.5cm.
