An early 19c mahogany longcase clock with [formerly] pierced fretwork mount to the domed top, turned columns to the hood, over a crossbanded and shaped door, again with columns to the sides, over a crossbanded trunk, raised upon short turned feet; the painted dial with figure to the top and buildings as spandrels, enclosing a white dial with Roman numerals, inscribed Young Newcastle, eight day movement with seconds and date dials, 225cms.
