Nikoloz Meskhishvili, "Man Story - Dreams Unveiled", acrylic on canvas, 50 x 70cm, c. 2023. In this painting titled Man Story an ethereal world comes to life, merging the realms of dreams and reality. The painting invites the viewer into a captivating narrative of human emotions and the complex interplay of desires, connections, and hidden depths. The focal point of the painting is a Japanese woman's profile face, adorned with golden textures that shimmer and radiate a sense of mystery. Her face, painted in shades of vibrant blue, exudes tranquility and serenity, reflecting her inner world. The blue hue represents a deep emotional longing for something beyond reach, an unfulfilled yearning that resides within her. Standing opposite to the woman is a solitary figure a man cloaked in shades of orange. With closed eyes, he turns his gaze towards the woman, mirroring her introspection and emotional vulnerability. The closed eyes signify a shared sense of contemplation and introspection, as they both search for meaning and connection in their lives. In the center of the composition stands a man, his body painted in shades of brown and gray, exuding strength and motion. His powerful posture symbolizes resilience and determination, embodying the human spirit's capacity to overcome challenges. He represents the embodiment of action and movement amidst the static nature of the surrounding figures, urging the viewer to strive for personal growth and progress. Adjacent to the central figures, a geisha's half-face emerges, veiled by a white cloth delicately draped over her head. The geisha, a symbol of grace and elegance, embodies the subtleties and secrets of the human experience. Her presence adds an element of mystique, hinting at untold stories and concealed desires. On the left side of the painting, a juxtaposition of colors and shapes depicts a nude woman's body, painted in hues of pink, skin tones, blue, and green. Her downward gaze signifies introspection and self-reflection. She embodies vulnerability and self-discovery, expressing the complexities of one's own identity and the beauty found in embracing individuality. The painting in one man story depicts Dreams Unveiled and captures a diverse human emotions, desires, and self-exploration. It explores themes of longing, introspection, strength, and the pursuit of connection. Through its surrealistic elements and vibrant colors, the painting invites viewers to delve into their own subconscious, unravel their deepest desires, and embark on a journey of self-discovery. My journey as an artist is an exciting trip full of different colors, textures, and feelings. I am a painter who is driven by a deep desire to use art to study the many different parts of the human experience. This route surprised me because I didn't know about it until much later in life. During my successful academic and professional life until I was 37 years old, I didn't know that my true calling was hidden in the middle of this career direction. Although I had a Master's degree in International Service Management and a strong professional background in education sector the art in general had always been an important part of my life. In a fortunate turn of events, fate led me to an important realization. Just five years ago, I found myself accompanying a friend to an art studio, impulsively enrolling in a drawing course. This spontaneous decision was not grounded in rational introspection but rather a surrender to the whispers of my inner voice - a voice that urged me to pick up the brush and embark on a journey of artistic exploration. From that transformative day onwards, my life underwent a seismic shift. Once an inactive interest, painting grew into an unstoppable force that took over every part of my life. What started as a step into an art studio quickly turned into a cascade of changes that took me to the rooms of the State Academy of Fine Art. Before me was a fate I didn't know about yet: at age 40, I found my true calling and changed into an artist. Located in the UK, UK shipping 50.
