Franco Bonvicini "Bonvi" (1941-1995), Sturmtruppen: Giorno di RamazzaOriginal illustration for greeting card, Edizioni Salemi, late 80s. Pencil and Indian ink on Fabriano cardboard. Cm 25x17,5, a paper clip trace on the upper white margin, otherwise excellent condition. Brilliant artist with a corrosive irony, he collaborates with Francesco Guccini for “Le Cronache del Dopo Bomba”; he becomes famous thanks to his Sturmtruppen and Nick Carter, the main character of 1975 Super Gulp cartoons. This year occurs recurrence the 50th anniversary of the unkempt assault troops, celebrated by a great exhibition in his own Bologna.
