Description
A twelve-drawer cabinet simulating fourteen, teak, partial ebony coating, ebony and ivory inlays "plant motifs” and "faced Jatayus", scalloped, pierced and gilt copper mounts, Indo-Portuguese, 17th C. (2nd half), restoration, minor faults and defects, interiors of some drawers redone, later 19th century stand with two drawers and carved "Nagas" legs. Notes: vd. similar copy in DIAS, Pedro – Mobiliário Indo-Português.
