A basin, faience, blue and vinous «Spiders» decoration "Shield containing cherub and inscription SARAFNIS (sic)" attributed to Fr. José dos Serapins, back of the flap with blue fillets, Portuguese, 17th C. (2nd half), large stapled hairlines, large chips, faults on the edge glaze. Notes: It was part of the collection of the Count of Castro e Solla - see. CASTRO E SOLLA, Count of - "Ceramica Brazonada". Lisbon: J. A. Telles da Sylva, 1992, vol. I, nº XLII, pp. 79-80, Print XLVII. Fr.
