A FINE AND LIMITED EDITION PLATINUM AUTOMATIC WORLD TIME WRISTWATCH Model: World Time 'Mecca' Reference: 5130P-015 Date: Purchased on 24th October, 2011 Movement: 33-jewel automatic, Geneva Seal, No. 5'572'225 Dial: Sunburst silvered, green guilloché engraved central disc and with 'Mecca' in green Case: Round, display case back, No. 4'550'519 Strap/Bracelet: Regulated species Buckle/Clasp: Platinum folding clasp Signed: Case, dial, movement and clasp Size: 40mm Accompaniments: Maker's presentation box, Extract from the Archive confirming the date of sale, and related literatures Footnotes: From 2011 to 2022, Patek Philippe released only 150 limited pieces of the Reference 5130 World Time Mecca, commemorating the holy city of Mecca and catering to the Middle Eastern market, which has shown a growing interest in green dials. Green is the traditional color of Islam and is believed to have been worn by Muhammad in the form of a cloak and turban. This color is seen in the Saudi Arabian flag, mosques, and the Qur'an. With the iconic Louis Cottier-style world time complication, the watch is manufactured in platinum, featuring an emerald-green center disc in a sunray pattern and the holy city of Mecca printed on the city ring. The current example is offered with its original presentation box, and related literature.
