Christian Dior: a Pink and White Perforated Leather 'Trailer Trash' Cadillac Bag Spring/Summer 2001 Creative Director: John Galliano White calfskin leather quilted and perforated calfskin leather with pink patent accents with top handles, zipper opening, lined with pink tonal fabric and zip pocket at the interior. Stylized details feature headlights, a steering wheel handle, and a Dior branded license plate. 38cm wide, 25cm high, 3cm deep, includes authenticity card and dust bag Footnotes: In the Spring/Summer 2001 'Trailer Trash' collection, John Galliano reimagined Dior's classic handbags with automotive-inspired designs, notably drawing inspiration from Galliano's 1969 Cadillac. CONDITION REPORT Condition Grade B+ Appears in a good pre-loved condition, with gentle signs of use. Exterior: small glue mark at front bottom left near silver trim, handles misshapen from storage, light scuffs/scratches on patent leather accents, white body has some discolouration/fading, handles have some yellowing (consistent with age and material) Interior: no visible marks Hardware: plastic intact on some elements, hairline scratches The Condition Report represents Bonhams' reasonable opinion as to the Lot's general condition in the terms stated in the particular report, and Bonhams does not represent or guarantee that a Condition Report includes all aspects of the internal or external condition of the Lot. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
