Length of plaque 2.1cm Total weight approx. 79.0g (6) Footnotes: OVERALL CONDITION Some surface wear to the unhallmarked metal (1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th: plaques testing between 17-18ct gold, 2nd: yellow metal plaque testing as 18ct gold, white metal plaque testing as 17ct gold). 1st: Stamped to bar with Italian assay mark, 750 and VVV. One cufflink with slight abrasion and metal loss to profile on coin. 2nd: Stamped to bar with French assay mark (eagle's head) and 6059. One cufflink with heavily rubbed indistinct French workshop mark. 3rd: Minor spots of discolouration to plaque. Stamped to bar with French assay marks (two eagle's heads, one rhinoceros head), rubbed maker's mark (Ste P M flanking a diagonal hammer-shaped motif within a vertical lozenge). Side of cufflink marked BREVETE SGDG. Sapphires displaying a dark blue hue with good transparency. 4th: Bar stamped 750 FS. Spots of solder visible to fitting, visible under closer inspection. 5th: Bar marked 18 with motif of dress-stud. 6th: Some light discolouration to reverse visible. T-bar signed Tiffany & Co. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
