1973 Honda CB100 Super Sports Frame no. CB100-139666 Engine no. As the 1970s dawned Honda moved away from its traditional approach to lightweight motorcycles, which hitherto had employed near-horizontal engines suspended beneath spine frame, in favour of a more conventional approach. Introduced for 1970, this new overhead-camshaft engine, with its cylinder inclined a few degrees from the vertical, was produced in 90, 100 and 125cc capacities and went into a wide variety of models, all of which used tubular frames. Currently displaying a total of 22,548 kilometres on the odometer, this CB100 is offered with a folder of documents to include German registration papers and some other paperwork. The engine turns over.
