YOSHIDA HIROSHI (1876-1950) AND YOSHIDA TOSHI (1911-1995) Showa era (1926-1989), dated 1940, 1935, and 1941 Three oban prints: the first, a yoko-e by Hiroshi, titled Onsen no haru (Spring in a Hot Spring) along the left margin, dated Showa 15 (1940), the English title Spring in a Hot Spring along the lower left margin, signed in ink Yoshida with a seal Hiroshi, and signed in pencil in Roman script Hiroshi Yoshida along the lower right margin 27cm x 40.1cm (10 5/8in x 15¾in); the second, a tate-e by Hiroshi, titled Ume no ie (Plum House) along the left margin, dated Showa 10 (1935), the English title Plum Gateway along the lower left margin, with a Toku seal, signed in ink Yoshida with a seal Hiroshi, and signed in pencil in Roman script Hiroshi Yoshida along the lower right margin, 39.5cm x 26.8cm (15½in x 10½in); the third, a tate-e by Toshi, titled Kami no mori (Sacred Grove) along the left margin, dated Showa 16 (1941), the English title Sacred Grove along the lower left margin, with a Jikoku seal, signed in Roman script Toshi Yoshida in pencil along the bottom right margin, with further signature Toshi and a seal Yoshida in Chinese characters within the image, in card mount, 27.1cm x 20cm (10 5/8in x 7 13/16in). Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
