FUJII YOSHITOYO (BIHO, BORN 1868) OF KYOTO A Finely Etched Sentoku (Brass Alloy) Small Vessel and Cover Meiji era (1868-1912), late 19th/early 20th century Worked predominantly in etching technique with strands of gold overlaid on the sentoku with extensive chased details, the cover with a rural scene depicting a water wheel in front of thatched dwellings, sailing boats in the distance and Mount Fuji looming in the distance, the box with six roundels enclosing different scenes including ho-o birds, dragons, a temple complex, wisteria, and irises; stamped on the base with the Mount Fuji mark of Fujii Yoshitoyo. 5.1cm x 5.1cm (2in x 2in). Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
