The tinned sheet iron folded over a cardboard lining printed with faux woodgrain on reverse and marked, 'To keep this sign clean and bright wipe the surface of it every thirty days with a damp cloth. / American Art Works, Inc. / Coshocton, Ohio' in a rectangular reserve, the front depicting a pioneer wagon scene in the top half, with brand of Springfield Fire & Marine Insurance Co. (1849-1958) printed at lower left, three tabs cut into the bottom half folded into brackets securing a complete set of calendar months and days lithographed on nineteen sheets of cardstock, wd. 13, dp. 3/4, ht. 19 in.
