A fine lignum vitae engine turned silver mounted goblet The cup probably 17th century with a later rim With turned and carved foot, the underside also engine turned and rose carved, the silver rim hallmarked for London 1938, 14cm high Footnotes: The present lot comes with the receipt of purchase from A H Isher of Cheltenham, June 1945 for the sum of £25.0.0 and a letter in which the dealer goes to some length to explain that he believes it to be Charles II with a later rim.
