A Cased 54-Bore Percussion Box-Lock Pocket Pistol, And A Flintlock Powder-Tester The First Signed Smith, London, Mid-19th Century, The Second By Barber & Boaler, Newark, Circa 1815 The first with turn-off barrel, border engraved action signed within an oval against a martial trophy over each side, engraved thumbpiece safety-catch, folding trigger, and chequered figured rounded butt: in later lined and fitted wooden case with some accessories, the interior of the lid with label inscribed with maker's details, Birmingham proof marks; the second of box-lock pistol form, with brass action signed in capitals beneath a garland over both sides, steel trigger-guard, and figured flat-sided butt (indicator wheel missing); together with three powder-flasks for sporting guns, two for pistols, and three leather-bodied shot-flasks (in poor condition) (10) The first 4.5 cm. barrel For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing

Buyers' Premium and Charges

28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
