Megalodon Tooth in Matrix Carcharodon megalodon (Agassiz, 1843) Miocene, 14-million-years-old West Java Miocene Outcrops, Tasikmalaya Area, West Java, Indonesia This is an outstandingly sharply serrated fossil Megalodon tooth collected in West Java, Indonesia. They are 'mined' from land sites and typically have excellent color though the coloration can vary from layer to layer. The present example has wonderful intact enamel, sharp serrations, and a fine tip and is preserved in its natural matrix. Measuring 4 1/2 in Lot to be sold without reserve.
