Raptor Tooth Troodon sp. Late Cretaceous Lance Creek Formation, Wyoming, USA Found on a private ranch, this small complete tooth has exquisite form with intact serrations to both edges as well as intact enamel and a rare gray-beige with black lines. A high quality, gem-grade tooth. Quite possibly originating from a North American Troodon, this specimen is a tooth from a raptor, similar to the Asian Velociraptor, a genus made famous by the movie, 'Jurassic Park.' Troodontids are a predominantly small-bodied group of feathered theropod dinosaurs notable for their close evolutionary relationship with Avialae. Height 6/8 in Lot to be sold without reserve.
