Half-titles, uncut, plates (some folding), and illustrations in the text, colored lithographed folding map dissected and laid on linen in pocket at end of volume one as issued, publisher's dark green pictorial cloth gilt, spines slightly dulled, light chipping to upper spine end of volume one, small chip to center of volume 2. Provenance: Property of a Boston Lady. FIRST EDITION.
