Document Signed of Conrad Schneider certifying that Henry Weaver has supplied the state with a horse, partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, 1 p, 8vo (150 x 180 mm), Northampton County PA August 11, 1780, matted and framed to 415 x 535 mm overall. Provenance: Private Collection, Beverly Hills, California. This document, issued by Northampton County, certifies that Henry Weaver of Mount Bethel supplied the United States with a 13-year-old horse standing at 14.5 hands, valued by two independent appraisers at 30 pounds. A manuscript note on the verso indicates the bond was redeemed in 1785 for 39 pounds, 3 shillings. Lot to be sold without reserve.
