Publisher green cloth, stamped and lettered in brown, publisher's monogram to upper cover, with butterfly device to lower cover, spine stamped 'NEELY'S PRISMATIC LIBRARY.' FIRST EDITION, variant issue with publisher's device to upper cover (not the lizard device), 'an absolute masterpiece, probably the single greatest book of weird fantasy written in this country between the death of Poe and the rise of Lovecraft' (Lin Carter, Great Short Novels of Adult Fantasy, Volume II). 2. Buyers' Premium and Charges

28% on the first $50,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $50,000 up to and including $1,000,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of $1,000,000 up to and including $6,000,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of $6,000,000.
