A pair of late 19th/early 20th century French gilt bronze mounted Sèvres-style porcelain garniture vases and covers Of twin handled slender pedestal urn form, the bodies painted with twin oval reserves depicting classical maidens and putti, each signed GILLES on a cobalt ground with gilt tooled borders, the shaped domed and tapering covers with fruiting knopped finials, the swept circular socle bases raised on re-entrant cut corner footed shallow plinths, the undersides of the covers both with pseudo interlaced S marks and printed Chateau de Tulieries printed mark, 39.5cm high, 13cm wide, 10cm deep (2) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
