A late 19th century French gilt bronze and Sevres-style bleu céleste ground porcelain clock garniture The dial signed H. Pleister, 277 Regent Street, London, the movement stamped CH Vcne The arched rectangular case surmounted by a twin handed pedestal urn and inset with a shaped panel below decorated with a courtly couple in the Louis XV style, the matching dial with Roman chapter ring with blued steel hands, the twin train movement striking movement with pendulum but lacking bell, the garniture of pedestal urn form each decorated with oval reserves depicting female portraits, probably depicting Madam Pompadour and Madam Du Barry, on footed square plinth base, 40cm high, 23cm wide, 12cm deep overall For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
