A Regency goncalo alves or 'albuera' wood low or side chair by Gillows Circa 1820 With anthemion, scroll and palmette carved frames, the scrolled and dished back above a caned seat (caning distressed), on slightly splayed channelled and part-rounded square section legs, stamped: 'Gillows.Lancaster', the legs possibly later reduced in height, 49cm wide x 57cm deep x 79cm high, (19in wide x 22in deep x 31in high) Footnotes: Provenance Property of a private UK collector.
