A group of seven porcelain Easter eggs Imperial Porcelain Factory, St Petersburg the first depicting the Last Supper, painted over a pink ground and with a pink ribbon, the gilt reverse engraved with a crucifix and two stone plaques engraved with the ten commandments, the second painted blue with gold dots, the front depicting the Resurrection, the reverse painted with a dove representing the Holy Spirit hovering over the Holy Grail, with a light pink ribbon, the third depicting Christ standing with his hands raised between two angels who sit either side of his tomb, the gilt reverse engraved and ciselé with 'Christos Voskrese' in Cyrilic around a central image of a Bible, the Holy Grail, a crucifix and grapes, the border between the two sides embossed with a row of beading and two beaded rosettes, the fourth depicting the seated Christ in blue and red robes in front of a shaded brown background, the fifth depicting the saint in front of a shaded golden-brown background, the reverse gilt and engraved and ciselé with two cupids and the inscription 'Christos Voskrese', the sixth depicting the Mandylion painted on a white cloth, the body also white, with a green ribbon, the seventh depicting the saint in blue robes and a red crown in an oval reserve on the front, the reverse white and with gilt floral ornamentation and a painted bouquet of flowers on the reverse height of largest: 9.2cm (3 5/8 in).
