A Paris Lefebrve 'Rue Amelot' royal portrait porcelain plaque, of Princess Charlotte Augusta, Princess of Wales (1796–1817) inscribed verso: 'Manufacture de Porcelaines de S.A.S Monseigneurs le duc D'Orleans, tenue par J'ques Lefebvre Rue Amelot No 64 au pont aux choux, A Paris' rectangular porcelain plaque, finely painted in enamel, in gilt gesso coronet frame, plaque: 16.0 x 13.0cm, frame: 27cm wide 43cm high 8cm deep Footnotes: FOOTNOTES According to Régine de Plinval de Guillebon, Paris Porcelain 1770-1850, 1972, Lefebvre had gained the patronage of the duc d'Orléans for his factory by 1818, although he went on to sell it the following year.
