Jacques-Henri Lartigue (1894-1986) A Collector's Portfolio, 1906-1913 (New York: Time-Life Books, 1978, edition of 5000) a portfolio comprising 10 gelatin silver prints, each editioned '72/5000' and annotated 'U.S.' in ink in the margin, mounted to a mat board, the titles and dates embossed with gold foil and the photographer's credit stamp beneath on each mat window, one color gravure from the original Autochrome, tipped to a marbled window mat, together with an introductory text by the photographer bound in a booklet, care guide, and registration card; all encased in a blue velvet folio with gold label and ties, lined with marbled paper, bearing the photographer's credit label, signed and editioned '72'/5000 in ink. various sizes to 6 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. (16.5 x 19.1 cm.) or the reverse folio 17 x 14 1/2 x 2 in. (43.2 x 36.8 x 5.1 cm.)
