Waite / Grosvener Chambers Broad St. / corner Birmingham' on a handwritten label from the Institute of Painters of Oil Colours (affixed to the reverse of the frame); inscribed with a verse (on the reverse); inscribed 'William A. Waite / Grosvenor Chambers / Broad St. Corner / BIRMINGHAM' (on the reverse) oil on canvas 127.0 x 76.0 cm (50 x 29 15/16 in). framed 164.5 x 112.0 x 13.0 cm (64 13/16 x 44 1/8 x 5 1/8 in).
