Wedgwood Solid Blue Jasper Plaque, England, early 19th century, rectangular shape with applied white relief depiction of 'Raising an Altar to Bacchus' adapted from a design by Alphonse Lechevrel (1848-1924), applied in relief with two Bacchantes and a Satyr raising a herm to Priapus, impressed mark, set in a gilt wood frame, plaque 8 3/4 x 12 3/4 in.
