A collection of four Italian ebonised and pietre dure inlaid miniature caskets and boxes Florentine, late 19th century/early 20th century Comprising a small casket of rectangular form with moulded edges, the lid and sides with panels of tinted and colour stone specimen flowers on a black ground, including roses, lily of the valley, forget-me-nots, jasmine and daisies, raised on bun feet, a larger box of shallow rectangular form with moulded sides, the lid inset with a panel depicting a rose and a spray of lily of the valley and jasmine (two feet lacking), and two miniature caskets with moulded lids, one inlaid to the lid with a spray of carnations, the other with jasmine and forget-me-nots, on turned bun feet, 8cm high, 10.5cm wide, 7.5cm deep, 5.5cm high, 19cm wide, 12.5cm deep, 3cm high, 6.5cm wide, 4.5cm deep, 3.8cm high, 6.5cm wide, 5.5cm deep (4) Footnotes: Provenance Property from a Private Collection For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
