A GROUP OF THREE GLASS VASES, A JAR AND COVER, FOUR BOWLS AND A ZHADOU 19th/20th century Comprising: a vase adorned with a phoenix perched on rockwork, surrounded by leafy peony sprays, white glass overlaid with blue glass; a small vase of baluster shape featuring an owl perched on a gnarled, leafy, floral sprig emerging from rockwork, yellow glass overlaid with red glass; a red glass vase adorned with dear and cranes amidst pine branches; a jar embellished with three figures in a riverscape scene, the cover with a gentleman fishing on a boat; a dark purplish glass zhadou with a compressed globular body and an everted rim; a blue glass bowl adorned to the exterior with a band of birds perched on leafy floral sprays; a plain opaque blue glass bowl carved to the base with a square Qianlong mark; a blue glass bowl with a flared rim, carved with a square Guangxu mark; and a thickly blown blue glass bowl, the base carved with a square Qianlong mark. Buyers' Premium and Charges
For all Sales categories, buyer's premium excluding Cars, Motorbikes, Wine, Whisky and Coin & Medal sales, will be as follows:
Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
A 3rd party bidding platform fee of 4% of the Hammer Price for Buyers using the following bidding platforms will be added to the invoices of successful Buyers for auctions starting on or after 6th July 2024 – Invaluable; Live Auctioneers; The Saleroom; Lot-tissimo.
VAT at the current rate of 20% will be added to the Buyer's Premium and charges excluding Artists Resale Right.
