This model, also known as 'The Hour Glass' among collectors, has distinctive flared sides that resemble the shape of an hourglass. The present example is exceptionally rare because only a few are encased in platinum, especially with round and baguette-cut diamond hour markers on the dial. Additionally, the watch remains in good condition with no signs of polishing and clear stampings on the caseback.
