A group of Qajar underglaze-painted moulded pottery tiles depicting mounted falconers Persia, 19th century Framed as two panels, each tile of rectangular form, moulded and decorated in polychrome with a youth on horseback holding a falcon in a landscape with pavilions in the background, the upper edge with border decorated with foliate scrollwork, one panel with two tiles missing, the other with one missing, each tile approx: 14.5cm wide x 20cm high (5 1/2in wide, x 7 1/2in high), each panel: 49.5cm wide, 5.5cm deep, 90cm high (19in wide, 2in deep, 35in high) (2) Footnotes: Important Notice to Buyers Some countries, e.g., the US, prohibit or restrict the purchase by its citizens (wherever located) and/or the import of certain types of works of particular origins.
